The BDÜ Regional Group Frankfurt is a network of independent interpreters and translators from the entire Rhine-Main region who work on a freelance basis, are members of the German Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ e.V .), exchange professional information in person at regional group meetings and have been working together successfully on a project basis for many years.

Based on our many years of co-operation, we can recommend all members of our circle from experience. Our recipe for success is that we do not prioritise mutual competition, but know each other as trustworthy colleagues and value each other as reliable partners for multilingual or larger projects.

To this end, we meet regularly at regional group meetings – if you would like to take part in discussions on industry topics, please contact the regional group management (contact box). In addition to the further training (CPD) offered by our professional association, we also organise regular lectures, seminars and courses as part of the BDÜ Regional Group Frankfurt, which are also open to non-members. Another focus of our regional group is the promotion of start-ups in the field of interpreting and translating.

In this way, “natural lone rangers” learn to strengthen each other as “team players”. This allows us to provide our clients with personalised support, but also – as with a translation agency or language service provider (LSP) – to support them as a team for projects with several languages or high order volumes, without losing the personal touch.
